Where the money goes
Accommodation
The price depends on dates and platform: compare the official Airbnb and Booking.com listings for your stay. August and holidays are the most expensive periods.
Transport
Car hire and fuel are usually the second budget item. The A-44 and the A-7 between Motril and Málaga are toll-free autovías. Parking in central Granada is generally paid.
Visits
The Alhambra is the main paid visit. Check prices, reduced rates and free categories on the official website, and book early.
Fixed amounts at Rincón Salvaje
Pets
Allowed free of charge.
Cot
€15 per stay, on request.
Deposit
€300 refundable deposit, in cash.
These amounts come from the official Booking.com listing. Always check the final total on your booking platform before confirming.
Free and low-cost ideas
Beaches along the Costa Tropical, walks around Vélez de Benaudalla, the Mirador de San Nicolás in Granada with its view of the Alhambra, and walks between the villages of the Poqueira gorge in the Alpujarra.
Cooking in the apartment’s equipped kitchen and travelling outside August are the two simplest ways to lower the overall cost.
